What does this test measure?
WPM means words per minute. Gross speed uses typed characters divided by five. Adjusted speed discounts errors to provide a more useful measure of speed with accuracy.
How to improve
Start with one minute at medium difficulty. Prioritize accuracy before speed. Once you can maintain 95% accuracy or better, try advanced passages or numbers and punctuation.
